What functions are we talking about?
A full array of revenue cycle management experts are at your disposal. We will tailor our billing expertise to represent only those services that your practice needs
These remote-based elite medical scribes will record each patient exam encounter in real time with great accuracy, thus significantly reducing the physician’s data entry tasks.
Every medical practice is different. Therefore, HCES will customize its portfolio of services to meet the demands of any practice.
Let's take a closer look at the unique combination of modular, virtually-based programs HCES offers.
Why use Virtual Scribe Navigators?
If you are currently NOT using any type of scribe - and you are the average U.S. physician – you now spend 49.2% of your time on EHR documentation (Annuals of Internal Medicine).
If you are using a live scribe – you are on the right track – but incurring unnecessary expenses in a situation that can be intrusive to your patient.
However, if you use a Virtual Navigator – you will experience accurate and timely charts that are customized for your specific EHR and your specialty.
Not Convinced Yet? Here are some additional benefits you may want to consider:
Considerably less provider driven data entry required
Your patient’s privacy is respected by not having an extra live person in the exam room
Increase your exam face time with your patient by reducing annoying data entry tasks
Eliminate hours of after work documentation
Increase your quality of life by having more of it
Expand your ability to see more patients during the same amount of regular clinic hours
Of course – HIPAA compliance

HCES Presents Tailored Billing Options for Your Practice
In accordance with the above referenced chart, there are numerous “functions” to consider in the revenue cycle management process. You may want to look at offloading a portion of those functions when it makes sense to you. For example, our certified coders might provide you with a strength where you could have a deficit now. Or, our pre-authorization specialists could have the skill set that could improve your efficiencies. In any event, we can analyze your situation and make recommendations. Of course, the decision remains in your hands.
Still not convinced? Here are some further benefits for your consideration:
Reduced A/R days
Lower bad debt write offs
Reduced operational costs
Faster Turn Around Time
Trend Analysis for Continuous Improvement
All HCES Virtual Navigators must take and pass a rigorous medical terminology and anatomy training course. Many of our scribes have already successfully gone through this training and come to us with several years of practical experience either in a physician’s clinic or hospital setting.
In either case, another level of education is implemented when HCES insures that every Navigator is thoroughly familiar with the specialty for which they will work. Additionally, they will become conversant with the EHR that their physicians will use.
During this entire process, HCES provides one on one supervision and guidance by experienced experts along with a comprehensive internship period so that each Navigator is ready to serve our clients on day one.
Once the Virtual Navigator is assigned to a client, they stick with that client. In this way, the provider & Navigator can become familiar with each other’s pattern of working and talking. In this business, familiarity tends to breed greater efficiencies and error free charting.
